Helping The Ukraine
Since the 07.03.2022 Cash For Clothes has offered for people to be able to support the people of Ukraine via our services.We have reached out using various social media channels & by word of mouth in the local area. We are still running this service, if you’re wanting to be able to help in some small way by donating your clothing & other items via Cash for Clothes. We would pay that money earnt to the Disaster Emergency Committee who will match your contribution, in essence doubling the donations. They will also be able to distribute that money to what is essential on the front lines. We have been accepting our usual items such as clothing, paired footwear, bags, belts, costume jewellery etc as long as the items are clean and not damaged in any way. We are still running this donation service for the upcoming weeks and presently, as of 06/06/2022 have raised £492 all thanks to our generous customers. We have drop of sites in Parkgate Rotherham, Crystal Peaks in Sheffield, Barnsley Retail Park and Lincoln. We operate by distributing your unwanted clothing, shoes and more to Africa and Eastern Europe, where they can be re-used and worn by others. Additional items that you bring such as perfumes, aftershaves and costume jewellery etc. will also be up-cycled to poorer nations where they will be re-used and appreciated.
